Hi, I'm back! 🙌

Catch up with me 👋

Hi, y'all! OMG guess what? it's 2024 already and I've just found my old blog. Damn! I'm so amazed to know I was so into blogging and traveling and stuff. well, I am still pretty much into traveling but writing? meh- barely got inspired. I DO APOLOGIZE and owe it to my younger self who was so dedicated to this blogging journey 😭 y'all I will try to post more 🙏 and shall we continue my stories???? we definitely should!

...

Okay, so for a quick catch-up, I will try to make it short, to sum up what has been going on since my last post in 2015. After the preparation for our trip to Malaysia and Thailand that year, we finally made it there. There were lots of things that happened during our trips and I guess it deserves its own chapter (will come out soon I promise). After the trip ended we resumed our uni life and pretty much nothing really exciting happened until I graduated and then I worked for a year at a cruise line recruitment company. I feel that one year was enough for me to stay there so decided to apply for scholarships to pursue my master's degree. I applied to many schools everywhere abroad and got accepted in Taiwan. I guess it was destiny as I could then live closer to my parents (yes, they're living in Taiwan up to now). During my uni years in Taiwan, I actively joined activities and some conferences and youth forums abroad. My best memory was that one World Youth Forum in Egypt, where I finally met my good friend who I first met through Instagram, and connected with many amazing and smart people whom I proudly call family. I did Umra with my mom as well during my time in Taiwan. and since living in Taiwan I also have been traveling around, but honestly, umrah with my mom was the best one so far.

Fast forward, I graduated during COVID-19 in 2021. Yes, I extended 2 more years to finish my thesis as I got an opportunity to work with some companies for 2 years. and oh your girl made it to TV stations as well LOL I did some castings and made it to some TV commercial ads and did some interviews with local news. Okay back to graduation, so basically graduation in Taiwan is not as grand and lux thing as in Indonesia. We don't do make-up and we don't wear beautiful dresses. Most of my Taiwanese friends even wore t-shirts and shorts under the graduation gown and casually wore sneakers.

After graduation, I moved to the capital Taipei City to work there for a year, then I moved to Mongolia for another year before finally moving back to my homeland Indonesia and here I am in beautiful Bali island. It has been a year since, tbh I am quite surprised as I initially thought to give myself maybe only a couple of months in Bali, but here I am still falling in love with Bali every day. But yeah in between I have been traveling around as well. I usually take a month off to travel to other neighboring countries, and recently I've just come back from my Borneo and Brunei trips (will also share this trip in detail, in separate posts coming soooon).

I hope y'all enjoy reading and I am genuinely so happy to be back and catch up with you. For more updates, you can also check my Instagram here
